Boating and Sailing
Rotoroa is a fantastic destination for boating and sailing with a choice of sheltered coves and bays around the island.
With new amenities, including free barbeques, picnic tables,
access to fresh water and changing sheds, Rotoroa is now a popular
destination for boaties cruising the Hauraki
Gulf.
If coming by your own boat, please
regularly monitor the marine forecast to make the most of the best
shelter available around the island.
Landing Fee
A $5 per person entrance fee is appreciated from boaties visiting
the island, and goes towards meeting the island's ongoing
redevelopment and operating expenses.
