What's On
As Auckland's newest island destination, there's usually something happening on Rotoroa Island. Check these pages for our latest events, news and promotions.
VOLUNTEER CONSERVATION DAY
Sunday 4 March 2012
Interested in conservation? Come and help us restore Rotoroa's
natural heritage on Sunday 4 March when we hold our very first
island volunteer day as part of National Sea Week.
We need lots of pairs of hands to help keep Rotoroa's gorgeous
coastline and regenerating landscape in pristine condition. Jobs
for the day will include drift wood collection, thistle-grubbing,
tree chipping, staking karaka trees and hunting for moth weed.

FAMILY FUN DAY
Sunday 15 January 2012
Join us in January for a day of exploration and fun with our
Family Discovery Day.
We'll be launching our newly developed self-directed discovery
trail which takes you on a tour of the island's history, flora and
fauna, and supplementing this will be a range of activities, from
sack races and beach cricket, to gumboot throwing and
tug-of-war.
The trail is aimed at families and kids. Just book on to the
regular 360
Discovery ferry and come and join the fun. There is no charge
for the trail or activities other than the landing fee already
included in your regular ferry ticket. We hope to see you then!
ISLAND ART
Come and see the island's new Chris Booth
sculpture
A major new sculpture by New Zealand artist, Chris Booth,
has been installed on Rotoroa Island; click here for more.
